Best Ending Ever... Or, It Would've Been.

Hello!

Today most of this post will be a iMessage conversation between me and a close friend whom I will call Hermione for their privacy.

Sheiny- (with a picture of The Quill of Acceptance and The Book of Admittance article)
GO TO POTTERMORE AND READ THIS AND BE DISAPPOINTED WITH ME AS TO WHY THE HELL THIS WASNT IN THE BOOKS
hermione and my 8th
grade graduation
Hermione- WHAAT

Hermione- THIS MAKES SO MUCH MORE SENSE

Hermione- AND WOULD HAVE BEEN SO COOL IN THE STORY

Sheiny- I KNOW IM SO ANNOYED IT WAS NEVER MENTIONED

Sheiny- AND NEVILLE

Hermione- YES

Hermione- AND IMAGINE THEM FINDING IT AND SEEING ALL THE NAMES AND STUFF

S- I'm so unsurprised that Neville was doubted to be a wizard until he was eight (laughing emoji) BUT COULDVE BEEN A FANTASTIC ENDING LIKE THE THREE LOOKING AT THE FUTURE LITERALLY

H- YESS AND IMAGINE THE NOSTALGIA IF HARRY WAS LOOKING THROUGH THE BOOK AND JAMES AND LILYS NAMES WERE NEXT TO EACH OTHER

S- YES YES YES OMFG AND I JUST UGH THAT SHOULDVE HAPPENED

And then some theories of ours that I'll get back to. If you haven't read the article linked above, go do so now so that you'll be in the loop.

This is the coolest concept because this is making the future. It's writing exactly who's coming to the school in eleven years and that is just mind blowing to me. And it makes me really sad that not every Harry Potter fan out there has read this article because it's such an interesting topic. It's so cool. I just want a series where someone figures out how it works because I'd like to know. Also Neville, you're so cute. I love you.

Hermione and I also came up with some fantasies about how this book could work.

H- BUT WHAT IF THE BOOK WOULD WRITE NAMES IN GROUPS AND LIKE IF NAMES WERE TOGETHER THAT WOULD MEAN THAT THEY WOULD BE INVOLVE OR REALLY GOOD FRIENDS
AND THE MARAUDERS NAMES WERE ALL NEXT TO EACH OTHER AND LILY TOO
BUT THEN AFTER JAMES AND LILY DIED DUMBLEDORE NOTICED THAT PETERS NAME HAD MOVED

S- HONESTLY AND PEOPLES NAMES WOULD CHANGE COLOR AS TO WHAY HOUSE THEYRE IN AND THEIR CHILDREN COULD BE LISTED UNDER THEN AND FAMILY TREES AND OMFG WAHT

(then we just expressed how annoyed we were again)

H- cough cough harry and dracos names being next to each other \

S- GOALS
ALSO REMUS AND SIRIUS's
AND LILY AND SNAPES RELUCTANTLY BEING TOGETHER THEN AFTER THE MUDBLOOD INCIDENT IT MOVES FAR FAR AWAY

And then we began talking about the 5th Wave move. Still gotta read it. And then see it. Even though everyone hated it. But honestly this friggen idea makes me so happy and J.K., I don't get disappointed in you nearly ever but right now if I could send you to be without supper I would. I'm pissed off this idea is so cool. I just don't understand why this is a thing. Why would you so that. WHYYYY!?!?!??!

Oh well. I'm in a reading slump. I have no new books EXCEPT ONE WHICH ILL WRITE ANOTHER POST ABOUT. But besides that I really haven't been reading because HIGH SCHOOL'S A BITCH.

Yeah. I'm boring. Oh well. Have a nice day!

How Did This Happen?

I have friends. I do. I know I'm the nerdy girl who reads in the corner a lot of the time but I have friends. My main group of friends or as we call our selves squad. My squad is made up of a random yet perfect group of insanity. This may or may not be copying completely but I loved the idea too much not to. I'm going to nickname my friends by book characters from, you guessed it, Harry Potter.  Hopefully these friends of mine will be able to figure out who they are because (not the sharpest needles in the haystack (JUST KIDDING ILYSM)).
my dysfunctional yet functional friend family

Dean Thomas
Lily Potter
Remus Lupin
Seamus Finnigan
Katie Bell
Draco Malfoy
Minerva McGonagall
Ron Weasley
Cho Chang

I'm in that midst as well, incase you were wondering. I take what I said back, you guys won't figure out who's who. Sorry. I probably won't explain it either. Not sorry. About half of these people I met under two months ago. And how I've grown to love these people and need these people so much it scares me. I've shared so much with these people I feel so much more connected to them than I have anyone else. These people make me feel completed. They will always give me a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold, a leg up, arm candy (the girls are much more attractive), a chest to punch, or a pillow of a thigh. These people care. They're some of the only people that do. I love them so much. All of them in their own unique way make this group a functioning friend group and I thank them for it everyday.

Okay I might start crying if I keep writing about that so... let's talk about my day yesterday.

Yesterday was a really tough day. If you don't know or haven't heard, yesterday was the day Alan Rickman passed away. I found out on Instagram about thirty seconds after I woke up and I started crying. I realized I still had to go to school and stopped. I got dressed, I brushed my teeth, I packed my bag and I still had 30 minutes before I had to go to school. I thought too much and almost began crying again. Almost. I went into school unhappy. I organized the library books and was still not feeling any better (I love organizing bookshelves). I went to AP Geography and I did something that actually made me happy. I searched in google "wolfstar tumblr"
from tumblr
and that was the ONLY thing that made me even remotely happy. Then I went on Instagram and my ENTIRE FUCKING FEED WAS ALL ABOUT ALAN AND IT DIDN'T FUCKING HELP AND I'M PISSED. FUCKING PISSED. Then I saw a photo of Alan with the comment "When I'm 80 years old and sitting in my rocking chair, I'll be reading Harry Potter. And my family will say to me 'After all this time?' And I will say, 'Always.'" And I broke down. He never made it to 80. I'll never forget that. I remember reading that quote years ago and I said "That is so ME!" and now it'll never be him either. It just hurts and nothing makes sense right now. He made such an impact on my life that I just can't see straight. It's not okay. Nothing is okay.

I'm done. It's going to be okay. It's not right now but it will be.

I'm Really Boring After Awhile

Hello!

I felt like my blog is going flat with all the Once, so I decided to get other people's opinions on books! I sent out a question to some friends and asked the question
"What is your favorite book that you’ve read as a teenager? Why?" and here are their responses with my short review of the book (if I've read it). (I'm the bullet points).

Katie Rusconi: The Harry Potter series.
  • I love Harry Potter honestly, I think that it has really made up who I am. I read those in probably second grade and they were read to me while in my mothers stomach so... yeah first books ever and best books ever. They are just genius and magical (pun not intended {jk}) and just really engaging to anyone of all ages.

Grace Donahue: lol…… I hate reading. The only book I’ve read that was not required by school was Better off Friends which was pretty good. I liked it because it was short and easy to read but it’s really cute!
  • I've never actually read that so kudos to her for reading I book I haven't #surprised.
Reede Nasser: Kinda still a tennager…. But I love Thirteen Reasons Why. I will always love Harry Potter or Divergent but the book doesn't sugar coat anything it stays real throughout the book and the emotions are derived from the author's own conscience. It makes you realize that those types of situations actually do happen.
  • Thirteen Reasons Why is actually fabulous, I read it in a day. I couldn't put it down it was just really gripping and really kept me on the edge of my seat. Really great book, highly recommend.

Sam Petersen: Teenager is a super broad term… I don’t really believe in having a favourite book, because everything is my favourite everything. I loVEEEE anything by Sophie Kinsella, but I read those before I was a teenager (you probably shouldn’t though HA). Those are absolutely fabulous, hilarious, real, and actually taught me a lot about… life? I don’t know, they’re amazing and absolutely great for adults and children who like adult books alike :) I also really love I’ll Give You The Sun for a billion reasons including the fact that it’s hilarious and sad at the same time and AAHHHH I have so many other ideas. John Green is always a classic. THE NIGHT CIRCUS IS GREAT TOO. OOOH AND DAVID LEVITHAN. Annie, you know you shouldn’t have sent me this question. I need to be doing trig.
  • Oops, never read Sophie Kinsella but I'm trying! I'll Give You The Sun is probably one of the most legit books I've ever read, it's one of those books that you think couldn't happen but then think again and realize it does. All the time. Everywhere. You see things all around you that you can relate to that book. John Green....eh. I really really want to read The Night Circus it sounds amazing! David Leviathan is great.
  • P.S. when Sam writes practically half your blog post for you ;D

Isaac Cortes – …
  • Thanks for the input there, buddy.

credz to sugarycynicism
Maya Levine: Ahh there are so many of them. Probably the Mortal Instruments series or It’s Kind Of A Funny Story. I love the plot of both of them so much and I guess I can just connect to the characters. Also anything by John Green (especially Will Grayson Will Grayson).

  • THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS = YAASS. John Green....eh. WILL GRAYSON WILL GRAYSON = YAASS.
Sean Lydon: My favorite book is the dark lord of derkholm and a lot of books by the author Diana Wynne Jones and Night Circus as mentioned by Sam.

  • Oops, haven't read any of those... I HAVE AN EXTREMELY LONG TBR, OKAY?
Emma Strong-Conklin: This is rough, but out of the books I’ve had the time to read recently, one of my favorites has been We Were Liars by E. Lockhart. Made me cry. Also kind of ruined my life. Didn’t want to move for a week after finishing it. Made me very, very emotional. But it was worth it. It was an amazing book. Rate: 10/10. Would read.

  • I really, really, really, want to read that book so much it sounds amazing.
Ariel Johnson: Probably The Distance Between Us, it’s really good and I’ve read it like 4 times!

  • I've heard about this book briefly from YouTubers and things, but not too much praise. I'll look into it!
So, those are my friends and their favorite books, unsurprisingly I've read most of them and liked most of them! Definitely check out their blogs also, they're on my blog roll!
